De Nigris dies suddenly
Larissa soccer team's Mexican player Antonio de Nigris died suddenly on Monday. The 31-year-old striker had been playing for Larissa FC, a Greek Superleague team, from August 2009, and has also played 17 times in Mexico's national team.
De Nigris felt unwell in the morning and his wife called an ambulance, but he died on the way to the hospital. The cause of death will be announced on Tuesday after the coroner completes his examination.
